My computer's hard drive crashed and I had my podcasts on that hard drive. Now, when I want to put more podcasts on my new computer, it won't let me do so unless I overwrite all my previous podcasts. Am I doing something wrong? How can I at least get the podcasts that I want off of the iPod and start over again? I'm using a PC if that helps.

So you want to copy music/podcasts from your iPod to your PC? This question comes up a lot, there are programs that you can get to do this "reverse sync". One of them is called "Anapod Explorer".

To me, podcasts are a very transient thing. I only keep the most recent few, and let the old ones "expire". Most of them have online archives if you want to listen an old episode. So it seems kinda weird that you want to recover old podcasts rather than just downloading the new ones and moving on. :dunno:
