PnP port?

    before i got the router to hook up net for my other pc. i could dl torrents so quick. now that i got the router (netgear) it wont even stay connected w/ anyservers or people for over 7 mins and i barely DL at 10 k'bs... i turnd off all firewals but it sed sumthing about PnP ... port... can sombody that knows about this stuff help me out?! thanks !

    enable upnp on the router. your bt client will use that to attempt to open the ports. speeds should go up.

    Yes, enable uPnP on your router so any piece of malware can open ports in your firewall at will and leave you wide open to attack.
