I was out on friday walking down the street and my knee popped 5 times like a set of black-kat firecrackers. I freaked out and fell down. I went to a specialist and he said i have Synovial Plica

It's going to take a month to get back to normal according to him. It's suppose to happen to football players & sports people who bend their legs past 90 degreees. Apparently i'm only one more tear/irritation from having it removed. :noes:

There's no point for pix. All you see is a knee a little swollen.

Has anyone else had this? I can't squat for a month! Fawk!

I have it right now in the middle of my season and it sucks. I am getting it treated with celebrex, ultrasound, lots of ice and thinking about getting a cortizone shot to keep the inflamation down. I have heard you can get it removed and be right back at it with no recovery time.

yea. inside of your knee. My shit is still swollen and it happened on friday. I hope i can ride my motorcycle soon. i can't go a month without that shit :wtc:

the odd part is that it's not painful, but my leg is acting wierd and it's all tight. Calf's tight, quad's tight.

Do you guys play sports? I imagine it happens to catchers a ton too.

So next Wednesday i'm going back to the gym for leg workouts. My knee has not acted up, ached or acted a foo for at least two weeks.

Last night i did a quick 5 rep of 135 lbs atg squats and it felt fine. I was working out chest and my arms did not want to go behind the bar to do the squats. I think my chest shrank or it tighted up from the workout.

I'm kinda nervous. I'm going to go light and see how it ends up.

    :noes:

my left knew is the only one that cracks.

Sometimes when i do squats it sort of "moves" with some slight pain. Once it moves i dont get the pain again.

I belive that's the dendon grinding/moving across the survace of your knee joint.

Both of my anckles pop regularly when I walk around, its probably for the countless sprained anckles I had as a kid when I used to play soccer.

When i stand up right and bend my knees forward.. both my ankles crack... i feel the crack coming from the bottom.. near the achilles tendon/heel

Mine sometimes crack almost every step. If I ever want to be a spy and sneak around I would be detected in an instant. :wtc: :o

omg i missed leg workouts. the whole nausea-induced workout is something i look forward too... i skipped lunges... i felt that might be pushing it a little bit... but we'll see if i'm in horrible pain tomorrow. The knee was popping like pop-rocks... but nothing really serious. w00t!
