    this is the site i am working on - my photo blog

    im trying to get the bar on the bottom to stay stuck on the bottom.
    so far, ive been able to have it stay only under 1024x768, but it floats in larger resolutions.

    i would like for the bottom bar to stay in place, locked in the browser regardless of the resolution.

    ive tried another set of codes which will place the bar on the bottom but the color cuts off on the right or the left depending on either IE or firefox is used.
    the code:
    the result:

    IE
    [IMG]

    Firefox
    [IMG]

    apparently it looks fine on larger resolutions, but its fucked up on my 1024 :o
    please help :hs:

    the code works for me fine, maybe its something to do with the rest of your page?

    I just played with this code which is more or less the same and im not getting the problem in any resolutions

    Code:
    div#footer
    {
    width:100%;
    height:1.5em;
    background:red;
    color:black;

    position:absolute;
    bottom:0px;
    left:0px;
    margin: 0 0 0 0;
    padding: 0 0 0 0;

    }
