Please help me, 6'2" 165lb

    Hi.

    Please help me put on some weight. Lots of random people comment that I eat a lot and I'll get fat one day, so I guess you can see i'm another one of 'those' people. What do I need to eat / do to put on a little body mass?

    I don't want to be broly, I'm happy with my geek-physique, but a little meat would be nice so I don't look like a 12 year old boy.

    I don't do any exercise at all really, although I do walk to and from my car every day.

    it's really simple. if you're not gaining weight with the amount you are currently eating, eat more. Then, lift heavy weights using compound movements. That's about all you need to get started.

    Those were exactly my stats last year this time, I'm 6'2 190lbs now and still wouldn't considering myself very muscled. Get into the gym with a good program, eat enough food/protein until you're happy where you are, then just workout to maintain.

    you're like me, i used to be skinny. and while i was skinny i used to think i ate a lot too. The very few people that said i ate a lot, i believed them and always said "it doesnt matter how much i eat, my metabolism is too fast" stop lying to yourself like i did. you think you eat alot, but u really dont. eat, eat, eat. that's the only way. make yourself eat 3 full meals a day.

    all the stuff they told you in school. proteins, a lil fat, pastas, fish. u dont wanna be broly, then just do cardio every other day or so. u just need to eat right, but more and stay active so u dont become a bum.

    Look up the food pyramid or whatever it is the government suggests, add 500-1000 calories to their recommendations and eat what they tell you to. As for a training program, something with lots of compound movements, check out christopher's routine in the archives if you don't want to find one.

    Start lifting weights and eating more than you currently are. It's really not that hard at all. I was only 10 lbs more than you in March, and I be 220 now.

    eat eat eat! and lift lift lift...be sure to get 8 hours sleep a night. Repeat.

    I'm 6ft and 160lbs. But that's my fault for not eating like I used to. I was 190 before and pretty lean. But I thought the same thing "Man I eat so much and still dont gain weight" or "My metabolism is too high no matter how much I eat I won't gain weight". Right now I bought some protein shakes powders and I'm trying to eat 6 times a day like I used to.

    I always thought my metabolism was too fast too and that I would never gain any weight...I was wrong...but I gotta eat a shitload and keep it consistent. I think for me around 3200-3500 cals a day I could gain weight with...it's hard to eat that much when you got work at 6am then school till 10:30pm.
