Please don't tell me I'm screwed v.free ipod rebate

    Okay, well I was bored so I read the Terms and Conditions of the free ipod after purchase of blah blah blah... and heres what I found:

    so it says the 12 inch ibook with the cdrom drive is excluded from this offer, although this is what I got:

    Thats with the combo drive, which is a cd burner/ dvd rom

    ALSO on this site it says iBook from $949 USD, basically $1199 CDN, mine was over that as you can see above.

    I would assume that it would say free on the bill...

    You're fine. A combo drive is NOT a cd-rom drive. The cd-rom version of the ibooks are mostly for education sales, and they (obviously) can't read dvds.

    :werd: that's correct.

    You're fine.. the way apple is doing this one is you get a rebate after the "purchase", but it wouldn't say "free" on your bill.
