    Sometimes WMP will play files that VLC can't. Maybe I don't have the right codecs, but that's just my experience. Can't really hurt to have both. VLC is awesome though.

    VLC doesn't currently support the Windows Media V3 codec, though, so if you try to play a video that was made in, say, Windows Movie Maker for Windows XP in VLC, you're SOL.

    But :werd: on all other counts, VLC is great. :)
