is there a way i can play the songs on my desktop from my laptop? or maybe simply to control Winamp on my desktop from my laptop? when im at home i want to be able to control my Winamp without having to run to my desktop just so i can play the songs on my desktop speakers instead of my lame laptop speaker. do i have to do remote desktop for this?

well the music is all on the desktop. i guess what i want is simply to make the laptop a "remote control" u noe? so i can use my laptop to control what's playing on my desktop from the kitchen, the garage, etc. i think realvnc is the answer, but any other suggestions?

thanks for answer my dumb question!

Any type of software like Virtual PC, Remote Desktop, RealVNC... will work fine.
