How do I display the mp3's that are on my mp3 player onto my tv and then play the audio through my home theater? Controlling the mp3 list via the couch w/ a remote would be cool too, so i dont have to get up to change the mp3 thats playing.

I have a HTPC hooked up to my TV and reciever. I have an ATI Remote Wonder, stop, ffw, play, etc all work with Media Player and if I[m playing from the wif'es MP3 player it works. You could feed the audio into the TV but I haven't seen an MP3 player that will pipe it's video display out.

You might find a player that'll do this. This is what HTPC's are meant for. Might as well have access to the entire collection, rather than just what's on the player.

A local place has used P3 Dell's for $120. I'm sure you could find something comparable locally, then drop $100 into an All-in-Wonder AGP card.
