A&P Playing around with long-exposure - first time

    First time really playing aroudn with the long exposure on my camera, got access to a tripod finally decided to play around
    heres what i have - any suggestions,critiques or comments are welcome

    Hey man, Looks WONDERFUL! I just bought a PowerShot A70 and can't take a picture worth a damn, or I'd post something myself. :)

    i really like the lighting on the first one. i would change the composition a bit. the bare branches look great contrasted with the sky, but the grassy hill and that bush just doesnt do it for me.

    good job though. ive still to yet played with my long exposure...

    wow - i like that too - did you just adjust the lightness in photoshop?

    I autocorrected the color which didn't do too much, then increased contrast and decreased lightness.

    I think they look cool but the background is kinda bleh

    you have hot pixels.

    a LOT of them.

    Whats a hot pixel? I noticed that as well, i was thinking it was junk on the lense and i just need to clean it, but maybe not,

    see all those colored spots that are in the same spots on all your photos?

    Theyre basically spots on your ccd that are picking up overflow information from surrounding pixels and are reading "hot".

    I didn't count them all, but I think you have over a dozen or so.
