playing a win95 game on xp

    hey guys, i have a problem here im trying to get an old game working on my computer, but i cant install it

    the game is a DOS based pinball game, and im all out of ideas

    i tried to install win 95 on vmware, but for some reason i couldnt get it to install, im not sure why

    and yes i have tried the compatible mode in XP but it doesnt do anything

    does anyone have an idea on how i can get it to work?

    sorry i may have been a bit confusing.. i can get the game to install, but when i click on it, the DOS box just flashes on and off real quick and acts like nothing ever happened

    thanks, i actually downloaded that before i reformatted, but i wasnt sure how i was suppose to use that.. i will check it out again though :bigthumb:

    As usual, skinjob has exactly the right answer. That's the only way to go when you want to play dos games now. :bowdown:

    ok, i kinda figured out doxbox, but when i try to play the game it tells me that it cant install univbe
