I have about 2500 miles under my belt. :o

I went with a few of my friends to some canyons, it was fun, but I feel it would be even better if I had some new tires. I'm afraid my tires won't do it's job the next time around, since the tread is already at that point.

So, what do you guys recommend?

if you've only ridden for 2500 miles of experience, and this was a first time going canyon carving, i would be safe to bet you have more than enough chicken strips to turn the bike without losing traction.

it would be helpful to know what you're expecting out of them, if you want them to last, if you ride in the rain, blah blah...

    Chicken strips? :o

There's little cracks in the tread, I'm not sure if this is normal wear? Well, I don't plan on riding in the rain. I mostly do sidestreet and freeway rides.

    Dunlop 208 ZRs.

When I went from the stock shitty OEM 207s it was a night/day difference. You can get the pair for ~$200 if you shop around. The local Ducati dealer matched Chapparal's price for the tires, got front & rear installed for $270.

And damn, 2500 miles? Hasn't it only been about a month? :o

I'll look around for those too. I'm waiting for a quote on some Metzeler M-1's. And yes, it's been a month. :hs:

I'll try to get pics tonight of my current tires.
