what is good to add in plain oatmeal for flavor/taste...ive been toughing it out for the most part and started to add a half of a banana into it but that got old reallly quickly...anyone have good recipe ideas for regular quaker 1 minute oats?

I mix 3 spoons of Splenda, and 1.5 scoops of ON extreme chocolate in a blender, then mix it w/ my oatmeal. It's pretty good. Sticks to me pretty good as well. this is for 1 cup oats.

    1) Microwave oatmeal
    2) While ^ is occurring take 2 TBSP of peanut butter + 2 scoops your fav protein (Banana works well) + little bit of water about 1/8th cup or so, gotta experiment with it.
    3) stir
    4) Take oatmeal from microwave put in step 2 mixture
    5) eat

    Peanut butter.

I've tried a lot of different shit in my oats and peanut butter is by far the most flavorful thing to put into oats.

Before PB oats were just something I ate because they were good for me... Didn't really enjoy it too much. After I started adding PB, they're my favorite breakfast food, and often eat them at night as well.

    Oats + 1tbsp PB + 2 tsp brown sugar = absolutely great.

i make old fashioned oats but i can't eat them unless i pour some milk on them. adding fruit is a bonus for me but i can eat them plain if i have milk.

Lately I've been using steel-cut oats because I like the consistency better but I think you bros are on to something with the regular oats in the blender
