Anyone else pick up Q Games' newest psn masterpiece? I'm loving it so far - the gameplay is simple to understand yet allows for some impressive platformimg puzzles. The music does not disappoint, and implements a neat procedural effect to pump you up during intense moments.

My biggest complaint is that I'm running through it too fast, wish there were more levels. I suppose I can look forward to the inevitable 'encore' dlc.

It does look awesome and I do need a new, local co-op game to play with the gf. Personally waiting for a demo... just so I can beat a game or two before I spend more money on games. :hs:

Ever since i saw this game, i wanted it.

Got it yesterday and played it a bit, and its just as fun as it looks. Great purchase if your a shooter fan and have a ps3.

Gonna play it later today. IGN gave it a 9.1 :)

I hope pixel junk makes some killer DLC for it.

The GameTrailers review said the game ends with a cliffhanger, and the fact that it has a subtitle suggests that there will be more expansions/content coming out for it.

I can't bring myself to buy any of these download games with no replay value. I wish I could rent them.

You just spent 10 bucks on that "demo" then....:hsugh: As far as I know there is no demo out yet. As far as the game goes, it's amazing, so much fun. Definitely pick it up!

You need to get a higher paying job if you are worried about spending 10 or 15 dollars on a game that will give you between 3-12 hours, if not more, of fun. Pixel Junk Monsters has so far been a game I've probably played close to 15 hours...which is much more cost effective then going to the movies, going to be the bar, or eating out twice in a week. Granted, I do all these things...but none the less, more cost effective.

Not sure, I've spent probably 3 hours and I'm halfway through afaik. Then again I plan on going back to perfect every level. I expect to get around 10-15 hours in. Not bad for $10 or whatever it is. $1/hr seems more than fair to me. I don't remember the last time I spent 65 hours on a retail game.
