So I am trying to find some new hard rock stuff. I don't need just straight up gurgling and growling/screaming. Cuz I don't like it. I can tolerate some screaming now and then, but I like singing. I'm kinda looking for people to point in the right direction like "if you like xxxx, try out this band". So here's what I like, lately...
Mudvayne, Chevelle (especially), Slipknot, Disturbed. This is all I can think of now. So whatcha got?
    Thanks in advance.:coolugh:

Thrash sounds like the perfect genre for what you're looking for

    Pre-Black Metallica
    Municipal Waste
    Venom
    Slayer
    D.R.I.
    Gwar
    Helloween
    Anthrax
    Crossfire

Hopefully some of those bands might suit your needs

If you don't mind the screaming too much then check out God Forbid. They have singing too but are a bit more on the screaming side.

If you're listening to some of the metal stuff proposed by Sooka, then try out some newer "Soilwork" (i say newer because the lead singer not only sings heavy, but clean as well) and some "Strapping Young Lad" for some serious 'in your face hate music'.
