    if thoe are the only two choises i would take the pioneer every time. (that particular sony has had issues at our store about the motorized face.)

    I have the deh-9300. Bought it used for 240$ over 1.5yrs ago from someone who used if for 1 yr. NO PROBLEMS AT ALL.

    recently Pioneer have been making nice advances in their HU's, and the premieer line is one of my fav's

    but I run Eclipse in both vehicles

    pioneer has nice units, i would never get anything with motorized face.

    If you have a sony digi-cam, GET TEH SONY. You wont be disappointed in that deck. Just realize that you must have a 4channel amp though... (I assume you know this since you're looking at such nice decks anyway)

    I LOVE that sony deck. Very neat
