I went to visit a friend that lives in North Wales, PA and he arranged a photoshot with a girl off of Craig's List that wanted pin-up style shoot. I think we nailed the style pretty well. Everything was lit by Speedlights (all Nikon :run: ) and and we used my D300 to take them. The full gallery is here, let me know what you think.

the full body shot of her saluting is the best of the bunch, with a little PP it'd be a great shot. Lighting is pretty decent on most of them, but she needs to work on her modeling more. Some of her poses, in combination to her clothing were really unflattering to her figure, especially those of her "cleaning" the table.

Oh I know - She had a bit in the mid section that was less than desirable, and she really wasn't that comfortable with herself...that and her mom and little sister were there too. This was my first pin-up style shoot, so it was more of a learning experience for me too. My buddy did the lighting mostly, and I did he shooting. For something that was completely free....it turned out pretty well I think.

    a bit of advice...

NEVER post a close up photo of a model / girl / friend anything without cleaning up all of the blemishes. Her face looks terrible! Some Photoshop would do wonders.

:run: I don't care - This wasn't for money. I didn't want to spend hours in photoshop to correct the skin errors.... :hs:

You're going to need to learn how to take OTAP better if you're going to post pics.

I know - I can't make her look awesome, but I CAN make her look better.

The main reason that I wanted to be there, to practice the lighting, and keep using my camera. I'll keep this in my bag as having shoot a pin up model of sorts...
