it was kind of overcast when I started this one, makes the before and after a little bit more dramatic, the paint was in terrible shape but he wanted me to do what I could, it came out alot better then I was expecting

I didn't do the bumper because he is getting it repainted

the exact opposite happened on this one, started and it was nice clear skies, but was overcast when I took the finished pics, before and after doesn't look that much different because of that. the paint was really neglected and the buffing really brought out the red, it was getting pretty oxidized and pinkish, other then that and the remains of the sticker that used to go across the car the paint was in really good condition

Nice work on both, that Saturn was really nasty to start with.

    What products/process?

wash with meguiars gold class, then dry with a chamois

using a single speed 1700rpm buffer

optimum compound with a green propel pad, then wipe off with a microfiber

optimum polish with a grey propel pad, wipe off with a microfiber

went over it by hand with meguiars #9 swirl remover, wipe off with a microfiber

finished off with a coat of poorboys natty's blue

I'm really happy with the results of this combination of products :)

whats up with the sticker on the right side of back bumper on saturn? try peeling it off and just left hte crappy residue on it or what? Take a hair dryer to it, heat up the glue, then it peels off with no problems. Works great on pinstripes also if you have to remove those.
