I got this rifle from my father in law. It used to belong to his father. I'm not quite sure how he got it (he was from Ireland), but I know he used it to hunt. It is in what I think is really good condition, i've never shot it. Anyway, thought I'd share some pictures.

Oh, i was telling PT earlier, i was cleaning the bayonet last night and some red started coming off the grip in copious amounts. :ugh: I'm not sure if it's the grip's dye..or if it is blood

My girls dad has a shit load of guns, she is his only child so I have a feeling that we'll get them. Guns with sentimental value > *. My dad's shotgun from when he was a kid is stuck in Canada, I dunno how I'm gonna get it here :wtc:

I inherited a german luger and holster issued to the german army in '42, I'm pretty sure that wasn't rust behind the grips when I cleaned. Then again a weapon of war and most likely in a "from my cold dead hands" situation. Adds "character" to the gun.

I love old guns. I stand to inherit an 1898 shotgun and my dad's 20 gauge that he got 50 years ago. Gun still shoots like a champ.
