So one of the last pieces for my initial build finally got here. My Larry Davidson Horned Lizards in G10. I had Larry perform an ambi cut on them, with a mag release relief cut and cut them for my S&A arched Magwell. I'm very pleased with what I received.

I'm shooting one last match with my Dan Wesson tomorrow morning, and I'm sending it off with my box of parts to JPL.

Getting my trigger and safety fitted, as well as a competition trigger package, 2lb pull with SVI Infiniti trigger and STI parts. I've decided to only do this segments at a time because he's swamped and says he could fit me in for a few small upgrades and I don't want to be without my gun for long.

I think Larry makes some of the nicest 1911 grips now. My buddy has 5 sets of his grips on his 1911's.

The Bladetech came from my buddy Bobby McGee, Sales Director of Blade Tech. Gotta represent the NW.

A couple months ago when I first brought her home.

I like the Alumagrips. Nice, durable and CCW friendly. Ambi safety? magwell? There's a lot of nice grips out there nowadays. Depends purely on preference. I like gritty grips, The G10's offer some serious traction. It also aesthetically appeals to me.

Check out VZ grips, those are nice also. Brownells has a good selection of grips.

Wilson G10's are really nice as well.
