    I picked her up on Tuesday :bigthumb:. She's a Bushmaster XM15-E2S 20" A3.

Her finish looks a little bit discolored in certain spots, but that's just manufacturing grease that I need to wipe off. Anyone got any suggestions on how to make the receiver look real nice?

You need to move that optic foward. Way forward.

It's just on there for show for the pics, i'm not going to even think of using it until I master the iron sites.

Wow. 1,987,462 pictures of a 20" AR with a scope. I think you need to post just a few more pics because I don't think I've ever seen a 20" AR before. :drama:

Every place I called local was out of stock and/or wanted over $100 (because of tax) more than I paid.. I would have to order either way

Yeah I was about to say, I gotta put some CLP on the receiver and stock to make it look nice and give it a smooth black finish.

Gotta buy some CLP first though :hsd:

the RRA I am getting is a much better gun, has more features and better quality.. I think its worth the wait to get something I will want and not buy something and want to change stuff on it

it would of been $900 ($829 + $70 in tax) here for the Bushy 20", I didnt like the 20" or the stock and how heavy it was.

I check into RRA and everyone I called around here quoted me $900 + tax for an entry tactical (dunno if it was even chrome lined) and no one had them in stock.
I got mine from Legal Transfers for $849 to my FFL and another +25 transfer, so I am still out ahead by quite a bit.

    $900? Uhh, no thanks. :ugh:

I paid a little over half that for my Bushmaster. Of course, I don't buy many new guns either. What's the point? Oh yeah, I forgot. Getting rid of all that extra money.

$500. A little over half. Used in very good condition. 20" H-bar.

Those RRAs are pretty sweet though. You plinking w/it? I think I'm gonna put some good glass on mine and use it for varmints.
