Took these today, only got the car a few weeks ago, got it for a great deal doesn't look TOO bad. Guy I bought it off painted it himself it's kinda shitty with a few runs here and there.

Havn't taken it to a track yet, also blew a head gasket first day I had the damn thing, but then again all that's in it now is a 305 out of a Caprice cop car. I have a 350 awaiting transplant so that's the winter project. Won't have a chance to take it to the track until next summer. :)

Don't know if I'm fond of the 91-92 high rise spoiler though.. but then again it does go with the lines of car. We will see what it looks like when it's repainted black.

Clean car :) I'm dropping a built 350 into mine next week, 305 just isn't cutting it anymore.

Is your 305 the Crossfire engine that came in the car and if so is that a functional LU5 hood on the car?

It was just the carbed LG4 with non functional flaps. Only the Crossfire engine had the functional ones which kinda sucked. Ah well, putting a 3" Cervini cowl hood on next year :)

newp... only the LU5's and a handfull of the L69's had them (the L69's had them because the hoods were left over and GM felt like putting them on about 250 of 3200 L69 Z28's) ... otherwise they were the non-functional hoods.

Evil Cartman, on 3GO I've always liked your car :hs: makes me really wish I had never parted out my 83 :(

My wish, however, is to find an 83 L69 Z28 and leave it completely stock with the obvious suspension mods that are required for an F-Body...

Otherwise, I'd like to find an 82-84 Z28 that is in need of an engine/tranny, and needs zero body work, because I'd like to do something sort of off the wall and put in a stroker 6 liter truck block (iron ls1 style), put an aftermarket intake on it (instead of using the Z06 intake), and building up one of them little fun things :big grin:

    I miss third gens :(

Thanks man :) The body was pretty straight when I got it with only a few minor dents. The front nose and ground fx were ripped too so that's all new up front. Stripped off the side molding, got rid of the surface rust and painted it. Believe it or not, it does have a blue pearl mixed in with it lol used too little though :( You can see it under the lights at night.

Yeah it WAS slow, 15.21 in the 1/4 with the 305. Should be low 12's with the engine going in on the weekend.

Just a 350, forged crank, rods and pistons. Vic jr, speed demon 750, solid lifter cam, pro magnum rr's, afr 195 heads... damn engine is costing me 5x what I bought the car for lol.
