Got a heavy barrel A2 dissipator (ArmaLite Eagle Arms) off a friend a couple weeks ago and finally started to tacticool it a little. So many AR's here, but haven't seen many dissy's (for the one's that don't know, it's a 16" barrel w/ full length rifle handguards). I plan on getting some YHM handguards, a new light, better vertical grip and a Gear Sector single point sling. That's all the money I'll put into this one, then I'll start building a new upper.

It looks better in person, I need to move the handle back a little and the M6 light is just there for fun until I get a new one.

How does it feel holding it? It might be because the stock isn't extended, but it looks off balance.

Yea, the pics make the gun look strange, but it's still only a 16" barrel and I have the stock in all the way, so it's a small setup. It feels good, but the barrel is slightly heavier than the standard carbine one's.

I'd move the vertical grip back. I am really not a fan of the extended hand guard.. it looks to "Vietnam Era" for me. At least it has an adjustable stock. :big grin:

Don't forget the longer sight radius which I think is the really sweet part.

    Meh, I guess.

I do just fine with my rifle. I kept my target... I had an amazing shot at 50 yards.

Hell, I'm not a fan of ARs but if I ever got one I'd want one with the triangle handguards, pencil barrel and three prong flash hider. :coold:

I think it's a great setup. Still short and handy, and you've got a lot less hot barrel to smoke your hands on or melt shit with when you start burning ammo in a hurry. Plus the sight radius is a pretty big bonus. People get way too carried away with their cqb setups to realize that these rifles are plenty capable out to 400 yards or more if you understand the ballistics of the round.

It has a different style and that's why I like it. I still want handguards, but will probably get a new light next. I just wanted to post some pics because you don't see too many dissy's out there.
