Hello, I just signed up for the forums to browse the bodybuilding section, but apparently there's a car forum too. :hsd: I thought I'd share pics of my S13. Car still isn't running right because the SR swap is a work in progress but it's getting there. Mod list is pretty extensive but to make it short and sweet it's pretty much a bolt-on SR with the stock turbo (but not for long, big turbo is definitely in the future :)). The suspension is also pretty worked for track duty. I use the car for drifting, autocross, and track days.

Anyway I hope everyone likes it:

Since a lot of people are asking I'll just go through the mods list.

    Engine:
    SR20DET redtop
SSAutochrome exhaust manifold + stock T25 turbo (bleh)
    Greddy replica intake manifold
Greddy intercooler piping + Type S BOV
    eBay intercooler (24x8x3.5)
    Walbro fuel pump
    MBC @ 12psi
    Koyo radiator + dual 12" Flex-a-Lite fans

    Suspension:
    JIC FLT-A2 coilovers
Largus hollow sway bars (32mm front/28mm rear)
    eBay strut bars
    Whiteline polyurethane bushings

    Misc:
MOMO Start seats w/ G-force 5 pt harnesses
    MOMO Mod 07 steering wheel
    Autopower roll bar
    B&M replica short shifter
Weight reduction (~2500 lbs w/ driver)

Wheels and tires for street: DT-05R
Front: 16x7.5 +22 wrapped with 225/50/16 Yoko AVS Sports
Rear: 16x8.5 +37 wrapped with 245/45/16 Yoko AVS Sports

Wheels and tires for track: Volk TE replicas
    16x8 +20 wrapped with 225/50/16 Kumho Victoracers

Car still has a long way to go. I've got Z32 brakes on the front but still on OEM pads, those will get replaced with Hawk HP+'s all around. I also need to rip out the stock gauge cluster and replace it with Autometer gauges. Oh yeah, still on the open diff. :ugh: Kaaz LSD will probably be getting ordered soon.

I've heard a lot of bad things about the ssautochrome manifolds. How is yours?

I really haven't had it on the car long enough to pass judgement, but one of my friends had his for a while with no problems. I'd say the cracking is just inherent on tubular manifolds in general, not just the SSautochrome one. Another friend has a turbo Miata, and he bought his manifold from a guy who ran it with no problems on a 10 second drag Miata. It was a lot better made than mine (quality welds, thick tubing, top notch design etc). Safe to say it SHOULDN'T crack, but lo and behold, the EGT's got out of control and he got a hairline crack in it. Not a huge deal if you know a local welder, but still a pain in the ass to take on and off in case it happens. Basically if you want peace of mind, go with a cast manifold. But on the other hand if it does crack it's not the end of the world because it can be easily fixed.

Forgot to mention this also, but I tracked down some random leaks and finally got the car running right. The manual boost controller was spiking a little too much so I'm back to 8 psi, but it feels great even at low boost. There's some real nice power between 4000 and 7000 rpms and overall I'm very impressed with the new engine.

I love it, especially considering you're calling it a 240sx, and not trying to pass it off as a silvia like some gay ricer, keep up the good work :)
