it kind of sucked today because some redneck guy (who was nice) came by w/ 3 kids, ages about 13, 9, and 6. The fucking 9yr old kid was scaring the shit out of me cuz he swear he like was waving a loaded gun w/ the hammer cocked back all over the place. He like crossed mds's brother like 3 times. And the 6yr kept bugging me if he could shoot my 10/22. and when i did, he was shooting them in the air. I was like wtf! They were playing w/ my scope like no other. Kept playing w/ all our guns. God these little brats were annoying and unsafe. We dont even know these peopel. Usally I leave feeling pretty happy after I shoot, but man, I was totally stressed and tired out.

PLEASE TEACH YOUR KIDS SAFETY AND THE FOUR RULES!

I would have bitched that guy out. It's one thing when your kids are just obnoxious, but when they're being incredibly unsafe, thats a whole different story. I wouldn't have let them touch my guns either.

Pfft, that is what you get for walking towards me when I am shooting, that brass gets hot. :)

Was fun, but only about 80 rounds went through the AR with me shooting ~30 of it. Was planning to shoot all 300, but those people got me out of the mood.

And yes, that middle child would walk everywhere with the gun loaded pointing at everything, including his brother while his brother was driving away looking for some rabbits! The youngest one had our OLD single shot bolt .22 in his hand and wanted to fire while his dad was out adjusting the targets and asked if he could shoot his dad! Overall was a pretty shitty day, but I was still able to make sure the AR worked fine. I am hoping to go out to the range tommorow and put the rest of the 300 through something.

Ive never understood why people bring their damn kids to the range. Half the time when I go to the range there are people doing that shit, their kids are playing with their cars or trucks by the firing line in peoples way.

Looks like fun. I'm probably going to hit the range this week sometime. I think I'll actually go during a weekday, been a while since I did that. Less crowded ftw.

We had some mexican gangbangers come over to the range a few months ago from CA, 10 of them pile out of an escalade with AR15s and a Remington 700. They were all flashing gang shit around and acting like tards. No hearing protection, no eyewear, couple children running around, waving the guns around.

It finally got too much when thier little runts actually ran out into the range while everyone was shooting and one almost got blasted. Someone called the sheriff and luckily there is only one road in and out so when they were coming down the road, the mexicans piled in and took off in the opposite direction, into a dead end. Apparently they all got taken in for having some illegal weapons, drugs in the car, child neglect etc.

It can get pretty scary when you have assholes at the range with loaded weapons. I just grabbed my shit and got the hell out before someone got shot.

i was at this range last year when some gangbangers came out (no big deal most are pretty cool). theyre shooting two or three different types and sizes of pistols. then they go to the trunk and pull an ar out and some uzi's. they must have done some work themselves because they start firing and these things are fullies. scared the shit out of everybody because thats a :nono: where i go

to build ar15 before they close the little flaw in their law. and the whole locked mag well is not so bad. Once they close the OFF-LIST lower thingy, we can add a detachable magazine in a split second. doesnt take that long.:x:

my friends AR the one w/ the aimpoint is held by a simple nut (he had to file it down, said it took him an hour) but cost him a buck or so. Mine is held by an allen nut. bought it from WES at http://tenpercentfirearms.com/acc.htm

its called a sporting conversion kit http://www.sportingconversions.com/ProductInfo.aspx?productid=1044

we both bought our lowers from a guy named PIRATE14 at calguns.net

he runs a store named Coldwarshooter in San Bernadino Area. He has a list of FFL he will ship too.
