So I went to my first Practical Rifle match yesterday up in Portland. I used my 10.5" LMT with some 55gr PMC bronze and 30 round C-Products. It ran like a sewing machine, even with the mags being covered in mud. I was a bit apprehensive using this because of the longer range stages but I calculated my trajectory the night before so I had an idea about my holdovers at longer ranges. I was actually able to aim only about an inch or two over the LaRue targets and knock 'em down at 250 yards. It rained the ENTIRE day and at the end me and my buddy were soaked all the way through and covered in mud. I think I finished 5th in the iron sight division out of maybe 15 people and 35th out of about 60 people overall. LaRue targets at ~250 yards. Those things were pretty badass. Me in the mud.
