My 10 day waiting period is almost over and I'm excited to bring my Kimber Custom 2 home. Too bad the store closes earlier then I can pick it up tomorrow or else I would. I'm just can't wait.

Yup. The wait sucks, but it sucks even more cuz I gotta wait 11 days cuz the store closes at 6 and I can't pick it up til 7:38.

yah, which fucks people up with regard to Big 5, cause they seem to think that its 10 business days, when really the law just says 240 hours.

And C25, let me know how you like it, I am planning on getting one ASAP.

Picking it up tomorrow after work cuz the shop closed at 6 and I purchased at like 7:30.

I only paid $755 including tax, dros, and all that other goodness.

I've been shooting the range's Kimber for a while and fell in love with the gun. When I found out there was a sale, I hopped on the chance to get it. Finished my HSC test in 2.5 minutes (cuz I had to pee), and yada yada yada. But definetly, after I get it nice and broken in, I'll let you know how the gun is doing.

werd, but the valley isnt as bad as say SF or LA areas. Around here, people are more like free america in their mindset.

here if you have a handgun permit you don't have to wait 10 days. It's issued by the county mounties. Basic background check for anybody wanting a handgun. must be over 21. Good for three years. if you have one of those it's cash and carry.

It's never been exactly 10 days for me @ Big 5. Whenever I bought a gun from there, I'd be waiting at the front door the morning of the 10th day whether I bought it in the morning or just before closing 10 days ago.
