I just made the thread yesterday on my newest addition
    [IMG]

Well, after I got to thinking, I went to Rapid Fire and AIMSurplus's HQ.

Bought a little stack-on safe, not to protect against theft, just so that no one like my small nephews could find something
laying around that could hurt them.

Picked up a 4pk of the plum magazines and a 500rd brick of ammunition

I still have to round up my cleaning supplies and put them in the safe, and I know it looks naked right now, but ever since I bought my pistol I've felt irresponsible leaving it in a drawer. Got the safe on sale for $69 btw :h5:

Here it is next to the a stack of DVDs I haven't found a place for yet, gives you a better reference of size.

500rd brick of wolf was $70 local. Didn't think that was a horrible price, as I didn't want to invest in a full brick as of right now.

Was torn between the wolf and the bulgarian surplus that's been going around.

Haven't taken the 5.45 to the range yet, but trust me, it'll be properly broken in :wavey:

My .45 can't take federal at all, I found that out the hard way on the range, and my 10/22 will take anything and everything I can jam into the magazine.

So this weekend, I should be getting a Mossberg 500 from a coworker, cheap shotgun, but he owes me money and I talked him into trading a 500 with slug and shot barrels so we can break even. Should look good as a third addition to my collection :x:

i love my 500. got it for hunting, not HD. so it has wood stock instead of composite. best shotgun for the money. (870 is next best imo)

I think I have the pickiest 10/22 in the world. :sad2: Mine still stovepipes every 10 rounds with federal 510.

Is that the only ammo that does that? Because I'll be honest with you, Federal is shit. Any time people ask about ammunition, I tell them to avoid Federal. Like I said, my .45 can take anything you throw at it except federal. I've shot 6-7 diff brands through it, even about 200 range reloads, and never had a problem other than with federal.
