I went to get a Glock 19, but M&P9 was only $45 more and it fits my hands way better. Haven't shot it yet.. should go some time this week or maybe next weekend. Looks/feels awesome.

    $535 for near new condition.

I do not think you will regret this.

roommate just got one of these, I think smith has really hit it out of the park with this one.

forgot to mention it has night sights. rest of the kit is pretty standard, I'm sure.. 2 s&w 17rd mags, 3 interchangeable grips, gun lock, all the paperwork

with the night sights, I guess I can put off XS big dots for a while :o

The reason I sold my M&P 9 was because it was going to cost me a fortune to get night sites. I traded it in on a G17 with factory night sites. Other than that I liked the gun, it was 100% reliable.

A fortune? There are numerous companies making sights for them now.

For those reading, I bought my M&P .40 from cantankerously at $479. With the rebate (mail-in) that's only $429.

Back when I did the trade there wasn't. It was just as expensive for me to get new night sites and have them installed as it was for me to avoid the hassle, trade in my M&P 9 and buy a gun that had them already. The situation may be different now.
