    .17HMR

    Anyone recommend a good scope for this baby? Will be my new plinker as I start to tire of the 10/22

    The .17HMR is only good out to about 200 yards so I wouldn't spend a whole lot. A Burris 3-9x30mm should do you well. I think Burris has Leupold quality for a better price.

    Why the .17HMR?
    You pay a lot more for ammo than the .223 and it isn't as useful.

    the .17HMR uses a necked-down .22 mag case.
