Picked her up off a friend that has a few Rabbits. Going to build it for the Bluegrass Motorsports $2005 Challenge and then for a dedicated AutoX car.

Currently has a G60 motor in it, and running a fuel cell. But I also have a low compression ratio 8v motor I might turbo and put that in there. As it sits now its a hair under 1700 lbs. Going to gut it, cage it, and add alot more power.

Nice car. I could go without the strips, but the paint looks like its in really good shape.

And no need to put in a different engine and turbo it.. That G60 is just begging to get turbo'd.

Well, I have considered that option, but the 8v is already built and the G60 needs alot of work.

It's really a toss up though, as of now. Depends on the work and money I decide to put forth.

8v x-flow or what? my friend has a 12 second x-flow bunny its uhhh fast to say the least. the g60 block is ok, but if it is beat on you will be better off with the x-flow turbo, if that is the motor you have. the 1.8 8v has a crappy head design with the intake and exhaust on the same side and when you turbo it, you get tons of heat soak into the intake manifold which is bad. i am getting a mk1 jetta coupe (im so excited) i cant wait to play with it
