went to the gun show, lots of stupid prices as usual, a few good deals... some jackasses were selling .223 WOLF for fucking 105/500 and wolf 7.62 for 230 per case. unfuckingbelieveable. just bullshit.

but, they had m44's for 99 bucks(not terrible, but not the best price) and i picked one up. i also picked up a sealed spam can of 440 rounds for it. total = 157 after tax. not terrible, and i didnt have to pay shipping.

i also bought a saiga 12ga. last one they had. new in box... however, the bolt doesnt hold itself open?? i thought it was a BHO... how do you load the mags without pulling the bolt back? i cant get it in any other way.

They had those M44's at the show last weekend, I considered one, but someone has had them at partically every show.

I keep meaning to look for saigas, but never remember to when i am at the show.

you can load a full mag with the bolt closed. It takes some practice, but you can do it - especially with the 5 rounder.

I drove by it today, thought about stopping, but I was at the Gainsville one last weekend

Plus between the AR, 10/22 and a new shotgun barrel I'm broke for a while.

Hey what are you atlanta people's favorite gun shops?

dont have one. i prefer ar15.com's EE. i really dislike dealers... they like to rip customers off instead of inform them. drives me nuts.

Yeah, thats why I was asking. There is a pawn shop that my uncle found, and visits all the time, so they give us pretty good prices.

I can't tell if yours has it, or not, but if so equipped, the bolt hold open is a tab on the left of the trigger guard. Like Gimik said, loading a mag on a closed bolt is tricky, hook the tab on the magazine on the front lip of the mag well and rock and lock.

Jeric on SAIGA 12 has a last round bolt holdopen for sale.

I actually find it a bit easier to go a bit past the tab so the round is compressed against the bolt a bit, then rock it and lock it.

I need to get a LRBHO

after tax. it was 399 pretax. i could have saved 30 bucks and driven 2 hours, but my back cant take that right now and they are out of stock anyways. conversion is coming. looking for US parts now. im just going to do the russian pistol grip/side folding stock combo, then go with a us handguard, gas piston and muzzle break. other 3 parts will be the 10rd AGP mag.
