So after having only a Bersa 380 for about 10 years I finally decided to start picking up some new guns. I ended up picking up an FNP 9mm pistol and a Mossberg 590 A1 shotgun the other day. Below are some pics and in my second post I have a question on something since I am rusty on guns and just now getting back into them a decent amount.

Now for my question. I just got the FNP 9mm and I took it apart and cleaned / oiled it good but when I went to take the pictures I noticed this tonight, is this normal wear due to the slide action of a gun? Sorry for the noob question as I just don't remember.

    Yep.:bigthumb:

Next the wife wants a new gun so we have to decide on what to get her, leaning toward a glock 19 right now.

After that is an AR-15 hopefully.:noes:

I love my G19. If i had to get another polymer gun, it would be an FN.

You'll have to let us know what you think of the FNP. I've had my eye on them for a couple months.

I will update everyone, I am going to the range in a couple weeks, I leave for Miami tomorrow and my dad is coming down this weekend so I won't have time this weekend.

However my dad is bringing my 357 rifle my grandpa bought me like 20 years ago.:noes:

Looks normal, albeit it looks like there might be a high spot there or something.

Shoot it some more and all that nice black will eventually turn stainless color. Usually that's the first part to go, finish wise.

It hasn't, I just got it and I have to wait until after my trip to get it and the shotgun broken in.

One of my customers - a huge gun nut - has bought 3 from me in the past month or so. 9mm USG, .40 USG, and a .357 Sig. He said he had a .45 but it was a bit bigger than he liked.

    That's a decocker only.

Thumb safeties come on the USG models, and the .357 Sig model.

Nice knife - too bad there arent any good carbon steel blades like that in that price range. Stainless has its advantages, but for a real knife, its gotta be carbon steel.
