what does OT use for this thing? preferably IWB. i have a MTAC with bodies for my g19 and xd that i really like, and comptac has a gurkha http://www.comp-tac.com/product_info.php?products_id=50 that fits it. $80 though...

will probably also pick up a cheap pocket holster too.

Can't suggest iwb but for pocket, mika or rkba are both excellent.

i use a galco, cheap does the trick.

only issue is it's not a re enforced top so you can't re-holster with 1 hand

they're super inexpensive but the 1 i tried (just 1 so it could have been bad luck and they might be great :dunno:) didn't work out to well.

the clip was dog shit and it wasn't usable after about a month.

as i said before though, that was 1 holster and i'm sure we've all had expensive holsters fall apart quicker than we expected so maybe i just had bad luck with mine.

i'm thinking of getting the tuckable holster myslef, i'm ready to risk another $10

I got a tagua leather iwb for mine, the leather work is decent for the price ($30) but I really need adjustable cant, the paint was already chipping off the bend of the clip after a couple says of tryin to get it to conceal, because it was getting twisted w me tryin to get it where I needed it. Again, the leather and stitching are pretty nice for the price

Yeah, you can tell it's cheaply made, but it seems to be holding up just fine. If I was going to carry 24/7 I would opt for something better made, but for the times that I carry, this is fine. I wore it on a 2+ hr drive at 4 o'clock and couldn't even tell it was there after a few minutes.

Meh. Pocket holster is a pocket holster, from what i've seen. Some are better than others I'm sure, but most have a rubberized strip on the outside designed to catch your pocket as you pull the gun out. this one is the same. It's hung on to every pocket I've tried it on.

main reasons I got the pocket holster :

-For times when I'm wearing a jacket and want to carry in the jacket pocket without getting pocketlint all up in my 642, also in Ohio CHL holders if in a vehicle, and you want to carry on your person, the gun must be in a HOLSTER (can't just be in a jacket/pants pocket). This is hopefully going to be changed soon with the passage of SB239.

Also, the pocket holster is just generally good for keeping the gun clean and protect it when it's not being carried - I usually put it in the pocket holster before it goes in the safe at home.

    thanks for the info

main reason i like to have a pocket holster is really just to guard the trigger and so that i will know how its oriented and not be trying to draw a gun thats upside down from how i expect
