    hey all

im having a really really tough time finding any images (large or otherwise) of the several motorbikes in E7 (rentons, etc)

i know Shōji Kawamori did the mechanical designs for the series, but did he design the bikes aswell/

the reason i ask is im going to try and build a working motorbike to look almost exactly like (as far as our technology goes) rentons red/white bike. with styling cues taken from the other bikes in ther series

does anyone have official artwork sketches of the bikes or any more pictures of any of the bikes from the anime. anyhtiing from any angle is good, i just want to capture that 'look' so i can start designing the frame an such in CAD to take to the engineer

the rear arm is a no brainer, use something like a TW200 extended swingarm with the mostly cosmetic covers on top to cover the chain, brake rod etc

i see iverted front shocks, could use something from ohlins (probably RSV aprillia), monoshock suspension, the frame looks KINDA like a GSX R one (thats if you have ever seen under the fairings of a GSXR), the whole seat thing wont be the same, ill make a custom shaped seat that runs the line of the frame instead of the 'bob' style seat thats on it, the fuel tank could be similarly done with hiding it 'dropped' tyhrought the frame where the tank would normallly be

the only problem is the exhaust... it doesnt have one,,,, sooo i could make a shorty that tucks under the engine real close however it would be SO loud with no real 'can' on it....

I'm going thru Kawamori's Design Works book right now.

Sadly, the Eureka Seven section only has 16 pages consisting of lineart for the Type Zero, 606, 808, 909, various LFO's, and the Gekko-Go.

    There's no bike line art.

This is kind of strange that there's nothing on Ray and Charles, The End, and the dozens of other mecha in that show.

but rentons bike, i think it would be really easy to make the frame, even using the frame as a tank as well
