    Pics of t3h Audi

Went out this weekend and took a few shots of my SC'ed Audi A4Q

What do you think? Friendly constructive criticism is welcome. Keep it real.

Also, you are correct, my lisence plate does in fact say "Dingleberry."

1 - not too bad. horizon seems slightly off but no big deal. lighting could've been better, seems underexposed but can be fixed with some post processing. I'm not digging the background nor the trees popping out of the car.

2 - it's just a snap shot with people standing around. cars on the grass = :nono:

3 - not bad, lighting could be better. shot is a little underexposed. bokeh looks decent, though. You could also try framing the wheel on the left side and have more of the background on the right side of the frame.

4 - again, seems a little underexposed. backdrop is okay but the bush sticking out of the roof kills the shot.

Thanks for the detailed reply. I really appreciate it.

When you speak of the horizon line being off slightly, what do you mean exactly?

I do need to find some more even or steady backdrops though.

There are no blue LED's on the car, mmkay? I don't see how you can mistake those for LED's unless you don't know what LED's are.

The corner bulbs are silverstars. They have a hint of blue but flash amber.

  6. WTF does DNGLBRY mean? I hate when people get vanity tags and no one knows wtf they are supposed to say. what a waste of an extra $20/year. :mamoru:

perhaps you did not read the initial post. lol

    It means Dingleberry.

I usually fuck around with the DMV and try to get away with plates most people think you may not be able to get away with.

I have H&R Sport springs sitting right here next to me. The car has the AudiSport suspension but I don't feel motivated enough to swap out the springs, shocks and struts yet. You have an S4 now I assume from the AV?

    Nice looking 2.8 BTW

The horizon is usually the balance between the subject and the foreground. the first pic is pretty good but it seems to be tilted downward towards the right slightly due to the way the car is positioned. If you rotate the canvas by ~ 0.5 degrees counterclockwise, it'll be more balanced.

Ohhh I see what you mean now. I was thinking along the lines of the depth of field being off.
