If exhaust is included on your list, go with Pacesetter. My brother has 'em on his 96 3.8 and it sounds like a GT, and the HP gains were solid.

You'll need to get it recalibrated. You'll be off by about 10mph probably.

Would just going to 17s change it a lot. My stang came with 16s stock.

Wheel diameter has nothing to do with it.. total wheel/tire diameter is what determines any change in speedo error. There are numerous tire-size calculators out there on the web that can tell you what size tires you can choose to maintain your speedo accuracy. You can have 15" wheels with big huge tall tires on them or 18" wheels with rubber band tires, and they'll have the same total diameter. Happy shopping.

6'ers look weak and ghey. I have no respect for a V6 mustang unless you do something to it to make it faster than the 8. A V6 mustang just means you wanted to have a sports car but you wouldnt pull out the cash to buy one. Kinda like a poser.

Don't you think I would have gotten the GT if I could have. The price of the car wasn't nothing, its the insurance on a 17 at the time but 18 year old now. I'm looking forward to a 2004 Cobra. By the way what do you drive Donoldo?

no offense to you guys with 6's, but for the same price you can get a better car. There are plenty of imports in that range that have better performance than the V6 stang and are not much more in terms of insurance. The rims/tires alone on the V6 stangs make it look real pussy

I drive an 96 Camaro Z28. When I said you want a sports car but are too cheap to get one, I meant that in all aspects, including insurance. You have to pay to play. When I was 16, I drove a 94 Z28, now that im 18, I drive a 96 Z28. 6's insult sports cars....even Camaro 6's.
