I am carrying a Springfield 1911 TRP at the 4:30 position on my right hip in a Milt Sparks VM2 holster. It conceals very well, as you can see in the first pic.

I also have a S&W Model 642 J-frame in my front right pocket in an Uncle Mikes pocket holster.

It'll print pretty bad since it's about as wide as your body :hs:

I can't imagine how painful it is sitting down and leaning back. I got a full size 1911 too.

I used to think the same thing.

    Then I bought a Milt Sparks VM2.

It's not painful at all, I drive in the car with it for 2 hour trips no problem. If you have a good holster and a good belt, you don't even know the gun is there and it's extremely comfortable. The tiny j-frame in my front right pocket is more uncomfortable than a fullsize 1911 on my hip in a VM2.

I have a VM2 for my USP Compact and a VM2 for my 1911, and it's EASIER and MORE COMFORTABLE to carry my 1911 than it is to carry my USP Compact. I guess it's because the 1911 is so thin that it just disappears.

Clearly you have no idea as to the awesomeness of the VM2 if you think i'm bullshitting.

When i'm standing up straight the grip is tucked up right into my back. It's actually a good reminder system because if i'm ever in public and I lean forward and no longer feel the grip on my back, then I know i'm printing and just stand straight again.

As long as you don't walk around like a friggen hunch back and wear underarmor skin tight t-shirts, it's not even an issue.

Thats way too far back for me, I'm a point of hip kind of guy. I could probably hide a bazooka in the small of my back like that ;)

Damn, you mention them or Milt Sparks in every thread! You're making me want one and I don't even have a carry gun yet.
