    why is it that desaturating adds artistic value? I'm not being an asshole, but if that picture were in color, it wouldn't be all that special. looks good in b&w though.

    I know what you mean, that's why I take everything in color and just adjust if I have too.

    The horizontal lines in the background are distracting, no big job to PS them out.
    Good shot though.

    Yea, I do need to do a little more editing on the contrast a bit and the lines.

    Another pic. I could probably crop the eye to the right, I figured I could center the pic then play with the results.
