    I need help.

My database continues to corrupt. I have no idea why and the server folks are like "wtf". Vbulletin has been very vague in what to get the server people to do.

    Any clue?

I get 1030 error messages. I usually have to end up repairing vb_datastore and a few others before it runs right. Then goes down again after a few hours. :eek3:

Turns out its an old version of mysql and the version it was running, 4.0.17, had some bugs that didn't like Vbb.

that would depend on what version of Vbulletin you are running. vbulletin has a pretty nice support group. I do not think I hve ever had a question they have not answered.

I said that too until I ran into this Anne girl in the ticket system. Man, was she really clueless or what.

kerrie ann or what ever is a coder on vb.org, go to the server optimization forum or what ever it is called. He has some pretty good tips to make vbulletin work on your server. Kerrie ann is just a hack author on vb.org that was granted mod status. I look at some of her responses and wonder what planet she lives on as well.

if you could not log into your admincp, use the tools in your donotupload folder.

I can not comment on some of the people there, but the actual people that run vbulletin are the best support staff I have ever run into when you need help.

I used to be pretty good friends with Chen, so whenever I had an issue, I just had him get someone to help me. Kier logging in to take care of things personally ftw!

I haven't had an issue since 2.0 or so, though, so it's been a looooong time.
