Anyone have any scripts they use? I could write one to do a single file, however I'd like to have the possibility of uploading multiple files at a time. I'm thinking a flash uploader would be the best bet for doing multiple files and not worrying about changing the php.ini for the maximum file size. Anyone have any suggestions?

I like the way moarpics does it... I've only used celerondude's uploader but I think you can upload multiple files with a zip on that script..

I'm not looking for something like that. I'm developing a backend for a site, and part of the functionality is to upload photos to a gallery. I will be inserting filenames and gallery names into a database, then accessing it that way. But I don't need help with that. It's just for multiple files uploading

    Getting warmer...

I can write a script to upload files using PHP. What I'm looking for is one to do multiple files. If I want to upload 100 files, I don't want to upload each one individually.

    then use flash.

or allow uploads of .zip and upload a zip file, extract on server, parse files.

Like I said, I'm looking for a flash uploader. I'm not looking for a PHP script.

Thanks, I'll definitely check this one out.

You will need a script server side to process the posted files even when using a flash uploader.

Correct, which is fine. I've got no issues with that.

You can, but then I would need to use an htaccess file to change the max upload file size. Also, it would be a fixed number uploads. So for example, if they want to upload 100 files, and I have 10 upload fields, then they have to go through and upload only 10 at a time. It just doesn't seem like the most practical thing to do. If I can't find a javascript or flash one I like, then I might end up doing that.
