A&P Photoshop CS2 is a god send!

  1. I've been able to transform photos from absolute crap, to absolutely okay... :mamoru:

I used to be against using photoshop, but now I realize how such of a handy tool it can be!

upgrading from cs2 to cs3 will give you the same reaction you just got from going from paint to cs2....

photoshop should be for enhancing photos, not fixing or trying to turn crap into photoshopped crap.

seriously, it takes an extra few seconds in front of the camera vs hours behind the computer

  10. A lack of money and equipment, CS2 helps out a TON!

CS3 seems to be less of a resource hog than CS2 to me.

I haven't noticed anything crazy except for moving a few items around in the gui... But I haven't played with it too much.

Can you elaborate on what you've found to be really great?

More 16 bit operations available, better interface (toolbars finally dock), faster, newer bridge is faster, newer ACR has more useful options.

Those are just a few that I notice every time I use it.

It also has nondestructive filtering which is pretty neat.

Gimp, the most appropriately named application ever.

They should give their laptop back to the mid-90s classic Hackers with Angelina Jolie from which they stole it and upgrade.
