    What lens did you use?

i am thoroughly impressed by these shots and your use of dof. The pp is solid!! Now i'm wondering how the original shots looked, specially in the first few gallaries.

    Thanks all!
For the majority of these shots, I used my Canon 50mm 1.4 with Circular polarizer. I pretty much stuck around f/2 and f/2.2 for most of the shots.

Some of the more wide angle shots like the F430 Scuderia was with my 24-70 2.8L with polarizer.

The panning shots were with my 70-200 2.8L

I boosted saturation in a number of the photos, and toned down some of the green highlights and like noted in the quote below, I added some vignette to some images to drive focus to the subject a bit more. Some may like it, some don't. I felt it added a nice touch.

In a lot of the images, the lighting was extremely harsh and I had to tone things down a bit.

I know the actual vignette does not look like that, I added that. I felt a timeless sort of look felt appropriate with some of these priceless classics.

Thanks a lot! I really appreciate that. :)
That reminds me, I have to PM you about a fairly large canvas I may need you to help me with.

It is unfortunate, the 250TR was on autoblog. Must have wrecked it after I left the track.

Definitely an amazing car. Saw one once at a consignment dealer in Nyack NY that had been restored nut and bolt by Mercedes. Thing even had the factory matching luggage. God damn that thing was gorgeous.

Like your angles, I like your use of DoF, although I am not on the bandwagon of liking the PP.

I think most of them look to PP'd and cause me to analyse why they look so ruff vs pay attention to the item in the picture. I find myself looking at the picture and not the subjects; I dont know if that makes any sense.. Some look cool (no numbers so i can't reference them) but others are just distracting

^^^ that one looks like your shadows are under exposed

    Just my $.02

Again though take the good with the bad, I love your composure.
