If I wanted to go about getting an internship what do you think that best way going about doing it would be?

Should I just call people and ask if they need an intern? Do I email them? I dont have any training so i can't provide a resume - I have a small sports portfolio though.

Basically I got a business card from a sports photographer that showed up to one of my jiu jitsu classes to take photos, I really like his line of work and want an intern with him? what should i do just call him and be like "hey remember Me!"

    Im wondering the same thing.
There is a listing here for a small club that wants photographers, but im betting they pay minimum. Id rather spend my time as an intern, learn weddings and other tips and tricks, and eventually start doing that down the road.

ALWAYS try to talk to people in person. This applies for everything in life.(except for ex-girlfriends and the police)

Well I don't know if this guy even has an office. The company he works for - usepresswire.com- is based out of Georgia.

Email him as an introduction....i don't know if calling someone who doesn't even remember you is too upfront, unless you think he'll remember you or you've discussed the idea of interning with him before.. just my take.
