Do any of you have one of these for your own personal gallery other than a photo service like picasa or something?

A friend of mine does quite a bit of photography and wants me to make a website for it. I don't want to use something like coppermine but I do want people browsing the site to be able to comment on pictures. Right now I've installed a script called Plogger but I need more than just that or at least be able to integrate it.

Do you guys have a site similar to this and can recommend a CMS or gallery?

www.pbase.com Huge place where tons of photographers list their pictures. Can comment on them, break up different levels of galeries, serach the site based on photography type, equipment, location etc

I second gallery, even I was able to get it working on my Sparcstation 20. Sourceforge seems faster than that last link though.

It's :greddy: that you have to pay to have a gallery.
