I'm just getting started with digital photography. I am a fine arts major, but don't do much photography. Since this forum is mainly about photography I figured I would ask you guys--What is a good photo editing program? Just photo shop, or are there better programs out there?
    Thanks for any advice.

Aside from Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro 8 by Jasc is the next best choice in my opinion. And about 600 dollars cheaper. :bigthumb:

PSP would be the next best choice, but if you have a friend with a copy of photoshop, deffinitely go with that.

Another one I used to use is Corel Photo Paint, but it's like PSP in the sense that it's not as powerful as photoshop, but it does get you much faster and easier results.
