Seen a couple Ti's on eBay awhile back, otherwise I couldn't find them anywhere at the time.. Guess I didn't know where to look. :dunno:

Depends on what you want out of the subwoofer. The Xenon subwoofers out perform the Titanium in the low frequencies. If you are going to make a decision on looks alone, go with the Titanium. I am currently running an X12D4 in series/parallel off a T1200.1, and it is unbelievable below the 30Hz range. The Xenon subwoofers are everything the Titaniums should have been performance wise....

how low a sub can go depends as much on the box as the speaker itself

Haven't heard the Xenon's but I've heard the PG Ti's and I wasn't impressed whatsoever. You can definately do better for the money

I am using the specs that PG included with the subwoofer. I am sure if it were in a smaller enclosure, it would sound like ass.

manufacturer spec enclosures, usually aren't optimum, they are just a starting point for the average street bass junkie, usually smaller then they should be with peaky output.

Very true depending on the manufacturer, there were spl and musical specs in the enclosure guide. I also plotted them out with Bass Box Pro. Phoenix Gold is typically pretty good about giving pretty accurate specs....
