dammit, I've been wanting to get a 1200.1 and I can't find em now, there used to be like 50 on ebay all the time. Anyone know where I can find/buy one new?

I bet they are better. Go search online, you can always find some. Purecaraudio and onlinecarstereo has some awhile ago.

teh Xeneon's are not the replacement, they are replacing the Ti amps, and have a lower price point than the Tis, so far them seem to be very good by many accounts

from what I understant, PG is going from a 3 line brand to a two line brand

the new Xenon amps are supposed bridge the gap between the Ti's and Tantrums, and the Octane amps are the entry level amps, but they still preform very well by many accounts

for those still confused, Xenon series stuff is going to be PG higher end equipment. I know it's a step down from what they used to have, but the technology is pretty cool. Regardless of of what ohm losd you put on the amp you get it's max power. That means if you buy the 1200.1 class d amp, and put a 4 ohm load on it you get 1200w. If you put a 1 ohm load on it you still get 1200w. this technology has been implemented on all of the xenon amps.

for those of y ou that are just insane, the titanium elite is still in the works which will put out 1250w x 4 at 4ohms and 2500x4 at 2ohms

I've been out of the car audio scene for a while..

Is PG still american made, or did they get bought out? Hows the build quality?

Last time I saw a PG amp it was teh Route 66 one..
