Anyone else use it very much. I learned it a while back and love to use it, seems like no one ever see's it coming or defends it well at all.

    wut?

Is that your gym's name for some sort of gi choke or anaconda or something? Everyone seems to be adding new names to old moves and calling it their own lately. But yeah... what's a Peruvian Neck Tie?

    its tony de souza's technique.

you get a head and arm guillotine, but instead of falling to guard, you put your legs on top of the guys back and head, forcing his neck into the choke.

Lockflow says it was created or popularized by Tony Desouza, but I prefer urban dictionary's definition:

Ah, we actually did a technique similar in class the other day when working butterfly gaurd and armdrags. Head and arm guillotine, but only one leg over onto their back. Does he have both legs over? Any video of his technique?

True. I also find that I have a much higher finishing percentage using the Neck Tie VS head & arm guillotine. Maybe I just need work on the guillotine...:noes:

I feel like the guillotine (with or without the arm) is my best submission right now. I haven't really finished people using this peruvian way though. If the grips are the same, then I will practice it starting next week.

different variation. teh peruvian neck time is like a head and arm guillotine. not the darce grip. the darce grip one is okay, but doesnt work quite as well, and tends to be more escapable

and here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M2Q-OqiIt2A (i hate how this guy pronounces brabo "brayybo" but whatever) it's the first choke he shows
