Well I don't have a training log on here, and I know how you guys hate single 'log' threads but I was happy with my lift and thought I'd share ... and brag a little Been getting back into it hard with a mate, he's actually paying for my membership, so we can push each other better (I have a free gym at work). So been make some great gains together. Last week was hitting some good flat benches, after incline and pullups, but feeling very strong. Was scared to try 180kg/396lb on my own with him just spotting (he's only 75kg), so un-racked but didn't try a full lift then. But last night got additional assistance, tried and pushed out a personal best of 180kg bench. I was happy with the lift, had done 160 X 2 just before. I know single rep, but the most I've pushed in a flat before and I'm very happy with it. I can remember when I was struggling to pull up 180kg in a dead, let alone with just arms/chest involved. ... sorry no video. Flame on.
